Randall (Randy) Paul Jourdain, 54, of Bemidji, MN began his spiritual journey Saturday, February 11, 2017 with his family by his side from his home. Randy was born March 8, 1962 in Red Lake Minnesota to Roger Paul Jourdain and Audrey Lussier.
Randy grew up and attended school in Red Lake. He was a kind, humorous, and very loving man who had a passion for many things in life, including guitars, music and sports. He attended a school in Saskatchewan, Canada for guitar construction and another school in Red Wing, MN where he built an acoustic guitar. He will be remembered the most for the love he had for his family and the way he could make someone laugh. He married the love of his life Shelley, on January 12, 1989 and they made their home in Bemidji, MN. Together they raised six children, Clarence, Chelsey, Derek, Zackery, Curtis, and Breanna. Randy held various jobs in Bemidji including lead guitar and vocals in the After Hours band. During this time, he cared for his grandparents, Roger and Margaret until the time of their passing.
Randy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Charles and Jane Lussier, Paternal grandparents; Roger and Margaret Jourdain, and one brother; Michael Jourdain.
Randy is survived by his mother; Audrey Lussier of Bemidji, father; Roger P. Jourdain of Red Lake, sisters; Mary Beth (Glen) and Paula Jourdain of Bemidji, Laura Lajeunesse of Red Lake, brothers; Joseph, David, and Timothy Lajeunesse of Red Lake, wife; Shelley, daughters; Chelsey and Breanna Jourdain of Bemidji, Sami Donnell of Redby, sons; Clarence Derek, Zackery, and Curtis, 7 grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles .
