Randall Eugene Newton was born September 11, 1955, in Winchester, Indiana to his parents Howard and Helen Maxine (McDowell) Newton West.
Randy passed from this life on February 8, 2013 at the age of 57. Randy grew up in the Muncie area and attended Muncie Schools. Randy’s work career included welding for the Lift-A-loft Company, a driver for White Feather Farms, and for the past 16 years a truck driver for the Frontier Trucking Company. He received many top driver and safety recognitions for his performance there.
Randy married Brenda Gregory in 1975 and they reared two sons from their union Jeremy and Jeffrey.
Randy never met a stranger and was a caring friend to anyone who needed help.
He loved to be with people and make them laugh.
Randy is survived by his wife Brenda, two sons Jeremy and Jeffrey Newton of Muncie, his mother Helen Maxine West, of Albany, one brother Tom Arnett of Modoc, Indiana, and one uncle Bill McDowell of Muncie along with several cousins.
Randy will also be sadly missed by his extended family, the Gregory’s, which he was a big part of for 38 years.
Randy is preceded in death by his father, Howard Eugene Newton, one brother Rex Newton, and his very special grandmother, Della Huff.
In the short amount of time Randy lived on Earth he touched many lives and will be remembered and missed by them all.
