Cooper, Ramona R. (Robinson) of Winthrop, passed away unexpectedly, due to a tragic incident, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at sixty years of age.
Devoted mother of Gary R. Cooper Jr. and wife, Rochelle.
Cherished twin sister of Regina Robinson and the late Weston Robinson.
Dear grandmother of Isaac, Lyric, Kiara.
Beloved daughter of the late Weston and Alice Robinson.
Former wife of Gary R. Cooper Sr.
Also survived by her loving niece and nephew.
Ramona and her twin sister, Regina, were born in New Haven, Connecticut. After birth, they were then adopted into the loving family of Weston and Alice Robinson. Ramona grew up in West Haven, Connecticut, graduating from West Haven High School in June of 1979. Growing up she always dreamed of joining the Air Force, and her dream of that came true in January of 1980. When Ramona first went into the air force, she attended basic training at Lackland Air Force base in Texas, then completed her technical training at Shepard Air Force Base,Texas, for telecommunication. After her completion of her technical training she then was stationed at Dover Air force Base where she met the love of her life Gary R. Cooper Sr.
Ramona loved working with aircrafts, she enjoyed her many years at Pratt and Whitney, where she worked in the engineering department.
Ramona has always loved the shore and the water, saying multiple times she would love living on the shore. This dream led her to the town of Winthrop, where she enjoyed listening to the waves and collecting seashells.
Ramona will be truly missed by all. May she rest in peace.
