Ralph Johnnie Douglas better known as “RJ” was born in Bell, Florida to the late William Isaac Douglas and Annie Conner Douglas on October 17, 1935.
RJ loved “pickin and grinnin” with his guitar and mandolin.
He worked as a truck driver for 10 years for White Construction, 25 years for Eli Witt, 4 years for Blue Luster-Rug Doctor and 10.5 years for HT Hackney until he retired in 2009. He farmed his entire life and continued to farm with his wife for a living until just a few short years ago.
RJ was preceded in death by his parents, William and Annie Douglas, his wife, Nina Douglas, his daughter, Ursula Adams, a brother, Dennis Douglas and three sisters, Maggie Bass, Freddie Mae Turner and Sarah Parrish.
Left to cherish precious memories is his daughter, Kristen M. Hunt, her love Lonny H.
