Ralph Leland Simpson, son of Leland and Mabel Simpson, was born on February 27, 1935 in Auburn, Nebraska. He was the oldest of three children. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1953. He was a member of the National Guard in Auburn, Nebraska.
He moved to Denver in his new Impala, in 1963. Ralph worked at Timpte Trailers for 22 years as a Chief Inspector and in other capacities.
On January 26, 1967 he married Isabella, along with her daughter Linda. He was a Chevrolet enthusiast who liked working with his hands and taking road trips, but his greatest enjoyment was doing things with his family.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 25, 2021 from his battle with cancer. He was just two days short of this 86th Birthday.
He is survived by his wife Isabella of Englewood, Colorado; sisters Shirley Mertes and husband Larry of Winsor, Colorado; Mary Jarvis and husband Terry of Auburn, Nebraska; Daughter Linda Webb and husband James; Grandchildren Jacob (Maureen) Webb, Andrew (Stacie) Webb. Great-grandchildren Charlotte, Jason and Madeline.
