Ralph J. Shenyo, Jr., “RJ”, 73, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022 while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. Born in Hazelton, he was the son of the late Ralph J. Shenyo, Sr. and the late Dorothy I. Martini. RJ honorably served his country in the United States Airforce as a Sergeant of the Combat Security Police Squadron during the Vietnam War. He was the proud owner of Invisible Fence of the Lehigh Valley for 20 years and also Queen of the Valley Farm, dog boarding kennel for 6 years. 

RJ served as the Vice President of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of NAM Knights MC, where he was a dedicated patch holder since 2013. He was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding with his NAM Knight brothers. He was devoted to fund raising for Veterans and Law Enforcement through his various volunteer efforts. RJ initiated and spearheaded “Vet Fest”, held annually at SteelStacks, since 2016, which has become a successful fundraising and community based event to this day. He had a passion for his fellow brothers within the NAM Knights and his motivation, determination and loyal devotion to the true meaning of being a bother has left a lasting legacy within the Lehigh Valley and beyond. 
 

Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings D. Jane Melchionda of Williams Twp., PA and Darren J. Martini of Albuquerque, NM; nephew David J. Melchionda and his wife Sherry and their children Tyler and Kylie. He also leaves behind his two faithful dogs, Jackson and Ziggy, who he loved and cared for. RJ was preceded in death by his nephew, Matthew J. Melchionda.
