Ralph Francis Moats
Ralph Francis Moats,90, of Rowlesburg, passed away Tuesday April 26, 2016 at his home.
He was born October 1, 1925, in Aurora, the son of the late Joseph and Rebecca Shipp Moats.
He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He worked for the WV department of highway, the town of Rowlesburg and Cathedral State Park. Ralph loved his dogs and gardens and building things.
He is survived by his five sons, Ralph, Perry, Francis (Frog) and Timothy Moats all of Rowlesburg and John Moats of Terra Alta; two daughters, Paula Moats of Winchester, VA and Nancy Moats of Aurora; a sister, Dora Moats of Winchester, VA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Spencer Moats on December 8, 2009; a son, Joseph Moats and several brothers and sisters.
