Ralph Eugene Berry left this life on December 1, 2021. He was born October 22, 1932, in Elrod, Alabama to Grover and Stella Mills Berry, the youngest of their seven children. He grew up in Elrod and met his future wife, Barbara Ann Wilburn, in grade school. He joined the Air Force after graduation from high school and was stationed at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas. He and Barbara married in November 1953. He continued to serve in the Air Force as a refueling specialist and spent time in Greenland and Alaska. After he left the Air Force he went to Marietta, Georgia and worked for Lockheed. While there he met a man who recommended he apply as a Defense Contract Administration Services which brought him to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama in the very early 1960s. He and Barbara raised their three children Lynne, Bob and Joe there until 1973. He was a quality control specialist during the golden era of the Space Program. When the program was defunded in 1973, he worked in the aeronautical field, but he returned to DCAS in Huntsville until his retirement in 1994.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Stella, his five brothers, Roger, Frank, Cecil, Robert (Robbie), Grover, Jr., his sister, Nina, and his beloved Barbara. He is survived by his daughter Lynne Berry Morris and her husband David, his son Robert J. Berry and his wife, Micki, and his son, Joseph M. Berry, and his grandchildren Hank Morris, Kathryn Morris, Brooke Berry and Bret Berry.
