Ralph Copeland, 87, of Plymouth MA, formerly of Osterville and Medfield, MA, passed peacefully on August 15, 2019. He leaves his wife Barbara, the love of his life for 62 years, and his children Julie Grooms and her husband Chip of Plymouth, MA, and Richard Copeland and his wife Susan of Mill Valley, CA, whom he loved so much. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alyssa Osborne-Chacko and her husband Varghese Chacko, Jason Osborne, Matthew Copeland and Ryan Copeland whom he adored. Born in New Bedford MA, Ralph graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University’s School of Law. He practiced law in Wellesley, MA for 35 years and was Medfield’s town moderator for 23 years. A retired captain in the Navy reserve, Ralph was an avid golfer, bridge player, traveler, and gardener.
