Rachel Marie Calhoun, age 82, passed away on August 11, 2024, at her home in Gainesville, VA. She was born on July 21, 1942, in Goodlettsville, TN and raised by her paternal grandmother, Mary Collins. Rachel loved to read cozy mysteries, photography, playing tennis, and doting on her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Everett Eugene Calhoun, III and Benjamin Lee Calhoun; and her grandchildren, Cassidy Marie Calhoun, Benjamin Wyatt Calhoun, Cole Everett Calhoun, and Jessica Lynn Calhoun; as well as numerous other family and friends.
