On March 13, 1943, Harlyne was united in marriage to Lynn R. Patterson in Omaha, Nebraska. She was devoted and caring wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and teacher. Harlyne taught at Janeway Country School for thirteen years and Laurel Elementary school for 22 years, retiring in 1978.
Harlyne was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Lynn Patterson Jr.
