Procopio “Popo” Garcia passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the age of 84.
He was preceded in death by his parents Miguel and Isabelita Garcia, wife Sally, son Anthony, brother Alfonzo, and sister Mary.
Popo is survived by his sons: David, Leroy (Maggie), Bobby; sister Margaret Lovato, brother Manuel Garcia, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Popo was born in Manzano, New Mexico. He moved to Albuquerque at a young age. He was a very friendly person and made friends where ever he went. He spent his days cleaning his yard and his neighbor’s yards. He enjoyed being outside. He enjoyed playing horseshoes with his friend Larry.
He will truly be missed.
