Preston Bennett, 59, of Cassopolis, died Friday, December 6, 2013 in Lakeland Medical Center, Niles.Preston was born October 15, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to George Washington and Mary Magdalene (Horace) Bennett, Sr. His parents preceded him in death.
He was also preceded by his twin children, Karen and Kevin Wares; one sister, Pearlie Mae “Bobby” Bennett; and two brothers, Willie Ed Bennett and George W. Bennett, Jr.Preston will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by two brothers, John Bennett of Vandalia and Roosevelt Bennett of South Bend; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
