Precia Ann (Oberle) Deckard, 76, of Mooresville, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 in Greenwood. She was born on October 24, 1940, in Indianapolis, In., to her parents, Norman and Eleanor (Miedema) Oberle.
She was a cashier for Kroger for twelve years. Precia enjoyed camping, doing crossword puzzles, taking long “fall color” drives,helping others, spending time with family and friends, and playing cards. She learned the craft of book-binding, and would help her mother. She loved watching hummingbirds and was an avid speller.
Survivors include her three children, Corina Sue (Buddy) Goodwin of Castleton, Angela K. (Dan) Dillie of Mooresville and Amy Lynn Deckard of Indianapolis, brother, Norman G. Oberle of Indianapolis, sister, Sue E. (Larry) Cargal of Worthington, five grandchildren, Angel Goodwin, Charles Goodwin, Crystal Norris, Samantha Evan, and Emily Crouch, and five great-grandchildren, Makaila, Bryce, and Gavin Goodwin, Emma and Abbi Evan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles I. Deckard and a daughter, Cindy Lynn Deckard, and her parents, Norman and Eleanor Oberle.
