Polly Ann Owen’s work on earth was completed on April 30, 2017. She has reunited with her mother, father, siblings and her three children; Willard, Warren and Carolyn. Her surviving children, James Owens of Ventura County, Sandra Owens Smith and Patricia Owens of Taft as well as her grandchildren Tim, James, Chris, Evelyn, Jerry, Michael, Bobby, Warren and Annie and many Great-great-grandchildren will miss her greatly. Polly was born on February 12, 1925 in Newby, Oklahoma. Her family moved to California in 1932. She eventually settled into married life and motherhood in Santa Paula, California where she became a business owner. She owned and operated two successful fruit stands she aptly named, Polly’s Produce. When some of her adult children began to migrate to the Maricopa/Taft area in 1984 she decided to sell it all and start a new chapter of her life.
