Phyllis M. George, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday September 17, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Harold George, Jr. who passed away on April 20, 2015.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mamie (Kichline) McCandless. Phyllis was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1944. She was a former member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Phyllis is a current member of Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Diane M. Dologite and her husband Gary of Bethlehem, Christina D. Wignovich of Bethlehem; son, David H. George and his wife, Trish of Irvine, CA; brother Leonard McCandless and his wife Roberta of Media, PA and 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
