Phyllis Lavon Watson, 96, of Zionsville, formally of Churubusco, passed away on December 2, 2021, at Wellbrooke of Carmel.
She was born in Churubusco, on May 30, 1925, to the late George and Mildred (Marker) Diller. She spent her formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1943.
Phyllis was married to Raymond Watson in the Churubusco EUB Church, in 1958. He preceded her in death.
With Raymond, she owned and operated Watson Greenhouse for many years. In 1975 the couple moved to Zionsville, where they worked for Porter Sales. Raymond was a florist and she was their bookkeeper.
She was a member of the Zionsville United Methodist Church and was a 50-year member of the Churubusco Eastern Star.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kathie Watson; three adopted Zionsville families that gave her seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Diller, Jr.
