Phillip Richard Kuehn, age 69, of Cassopolis, formerly of Gary, Indiana, died peacefully, June 9, 2016, in the presence and comfort of his family in Lakeland Medical Center in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Phillip was born October 30, 1946 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Louis and Dorothy (Wick) Kuehn. He married Mary Louise Marthaller April 27, 1968 in Tacoma, Washington. She survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nancy Greenmun; and one brother, Robert Kuehn. Phillip’s passion was sports of any kind, especially Da Bears and NASCAR.Phillip will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Mary Lou (Marthaller) Kuehn of Cassopolis; two sons, Ty Kuehn of Three Rivers, Evan (wife, Christie) Kuehn of Cassopolis, one granddaughter, Cassidy Kuehn of Cassopolis; three grandsons, Tom Kuehn of Three Rivers, Phillip Kuehn of Grand Rapids, Brett Kuehn of Three Rivers.
