Philip S. Mills, 69, of Newington, formerly of Plainville, passed away Wednesday September 20, 2017 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Karen (Swenson) (Ciarci) Mills.
Philip was born June 1, 1948 in New Britain a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Corrigan) Mills and was a longtime Plainville resident. He attended Plainville schools and was a graduate of Plainville High School.
Besides his devoted wife Karen, he leaves his daughter, Jessica Cook and her husband Nick of Bristol and his grandsons, Michael Allen and Anthony Barresi, his brothers and sister, George Mills and Kathy Knox of Plainville, Eileen Morgan and her husband Robert of Longmeadow, Ma. and Alan Mills and his wife Lois of Southington, his stepchildren, Paula Pisano of South Windsor, Joe Ciarci and his wife Valli of East Haddam, Marcella Ferrara and her husband Stephen of Okemos, Mi. and Paul Ciarci, Jr. and his wife Wendy of North Granby as well as many step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
