Philip B. Rhoades, Jr., 48, passed away Saturday morning, October 1, 2011, at his residence in Muncie. He was born in Muncie, December 10, 1962, in Muncie, the son of Philip B, Sr., and Kay E. Geise Rhoades of Yorktown.
Phil was a 1981 graduate of Yorktown High School. He worked at Borg Warner for twenty-six years and was attending Ivy Tech.
He is survived by two sons, Dustin Rhoades, (fiancée, Jessica Murray), and Devon Rhoades, both of Muncie; one sister, Stephanie Taylor, (husband, Jay), of Nappanee, IN; one brother, Charlie Rhoades, (wife, Carolyn), of Muncie; two nieces, Michelle Rains, (husband, Dave), of Nappanee, IN, and Allison King, (husband, Ryan), of Mountville, PA; three nephews, Jordan Taylor, of Nappanee, IN, and Colin and Carson Rhoades, both of Muncie; four great-nephews, Dylan and Drew Rains, and Ethan and Grant King.
