Philip A. Smith, 87, of Danbury, husband of Joyce (Jaquith) Smith, died surrounded by his loving family at his home on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
Mr. Smith was born in Danbury the son of the late Lawrence and Doris (Durant) Smith. He attended Danbury schools and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 1952. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Army motor pool.
In addition to his wife Joyce of forty-two years, Mr. Smith is survived by two daughters, Kimberly McGrath and her husband Brian of Danbury and Cynthia Trachten and her husband Matthew of New Fairfield, four grandchildren Riley, Braeden, Sophia, and Grayson.
