Phil S. Braddock, 95, Anderson, passed away April 3, 2012 at Edgewater Woods-Anderson after an extended illness. He was born June 14, 1916 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and resided in Anderson.
He attended Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Butler University Pharmacy College in 1950. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi College Fraternity.
Phil joined the Navy and went on active duty on March 12, 1941. He was a pharmacist for Hooks Drug Store in Alexandria and Tam’s Drugs in Elwood. Phil was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Columbia City at the age of 9. Phil was a member of the Muncie Rock & Gem Club; member of L.I.F.E. Organ Club in Anderson and member of the Indiana and Arizona Pharmacy Boards.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Braddock; daughter, Mary Anne Burchette Mike of Elwood; son, Steve Braddock of Elwood; two granddaughters; one step-daughter, Katie Marshall Joe; 3 granddaughters. He was preceded by his parents, Yost Braddock and Ruth Stephens Braddock; and his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Redman Braddock.
