Peter Phillip (Pete) Beem, 66, of Ashland, Ohio died Saturday day, December 10, 2011 in Hospice of North Central Ohio after losing his battle with a stroke he suffered in August.
Pete was born in Ashland on August 22, 1945 to Karl and Elizabeth Beem. He retired from Ashland Precision Tooling (Formerly Timken) after 30+ years in 2009, and had served in the National Guard. Pete Graduated from Ashland High school in 1964 after attending St. Edwards grade school.
Pete enjoyed motorcycles, fast cars, Cleveland sports teams and hunting. He loved his country and his family and will be greatly missed by them.
Pete is survived by his brothers Karl (Cindy) and Steve (Lou Ann) and his Sister Judy and brother-in-law Kenny Acker; Uncle Mike and Aunt Florence Glasser, Aunt Janet Glasser, Aunt Francis Glasser, nieces Nikki Beem and Liza Beem, nephews Michael Beem and James Beem, and many Glasser and Beem cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Cheryl Ann Beem.
