Peter Figueroa, 44, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, in his home on Saturday, January 24, 2015. He was the husband of Therese M. (Alvarez) Figueroa. They celebrated 9 years of marriage in October. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Pedro Figueroa of Bethlehem and the late Laura (Otero) Figueroa, who died in November. Peter previously worked at Figueroa’s Market in Bethlehem. He was a warm-hearted loving person, a great chef and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed video games, professional wrestling and was an Eagles Football Fan. Most of all, he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. Survivors: surviving with his wife, Therese and his father are his children, Peter A. Figueroa, Jr. of Northampton; Tashia M. Figueroa of Bethlehem and Isabella Figueroa; Step-children, Natasha Cora, Carlos Cora, Gregory Thompson and Regina Thompson, all of Bethlehem; sister, Cristal Figueroa of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren and 3 nephews. A sister Madeline Figueroa, died in March.
