Peter Edward Moss, age 80, of Port St Lucie, FL, passed away on August 24, 2019, surrounded by his family. Born on August 5, 1939, to John Moss and Winifred Wallwork in Blackpool, England, Peter enjoyed a successful career as an engineer in the automotive business, building, and test driving cars for the prestigious, classic, TVR sports car brand. Whilst cars were always his consistent passion, Peter and Carmel enjoyed many years of success in the hospitality industry as Hoteliers on the Blackpool oceanfront in the UK.
Relocated and living in Florida for the past 16 years, Peter found his final career in the banking industry retiring at 78. Peter’s first love was his family, when not spending time with them he could be found working on his cars, playing golf, cycling, or listening to Frank Sinatra in his spare time.
Peter is preceded in death by his son, John. He is survived by his loving wife Carmel; children Denise, Colette, Christopher; 7 grandchildren, Adam, Luke, Jake, Natasha, Maxwell, Paige, Jordanne; and 1 great-granddaughter, Beaux.
