Peter Joseph Chavez, 36, of Silver City passed away on June 23, 2016 at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City surrounded by his family.
Peter enjoyed the outdoors, hence his love of hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him
Peter is survived by his mother, Debbie Chavez; four sons; Peter, Jr “PJ”, Xavier, Ezekiel (Trish), and Travis (Kateba) Chavez; two daughters, Maliah and Makyla Chavez; mother of his children, Ruby Montes; one sister, Felicia Chavez; aunts, Edna Patterson and Yvette Chavez; brother-in-law, John Hood; Nino, Jerry Amador, Sr., Many other aunt uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Peter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Adela Chavez; Jose and Tomasa Alcorta and great grandparents, Sofio and Julia Chavez.
