Born on Feb. 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Shelton and Bermalee Farmer Oliver. He owned and operated Oliver’s Grocery for some 20 years and was a full-time farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Kavon Oliver of Lula; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and April Oliver of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Darren Nunnally of Lula; brothers, Eugene Oliver of Lula, Donald Oliver, Tyris Oliver, Leon Oliver and Tony Oliver, all of Clermont; sisters, Geraldine Oliver, Reba Jo Oliver, Sharon Oliver and Christine Clark, all of Lula; four grandchildren, Ethan and Haley Nunnally and Clayton and Cole Oliver.
