CREEDMOOR- Mrs. Peggy Ann Thomerson, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
Mrs. Thomerson was born on March 10, 1935 to William and Pearl Elliott in Durham County, NC. She worked in the Clerk of Courts Office in Granville County until her retirement in 1992. Peggy was a member of Brassfield Baptist Church for over 25 years. She always had a smile and was willing to do anything to help anyone she met. Peggy was kind hearted and will be remembered as a kind, loving wife, sister, and aunt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Duke Hospice and hospice nurse, Katrina Malugen; caregivers, Avis Henderson and Margaret Huff, for the loving and wonderful care they provided to Peggy for the last two years.
Mrs. Thomerson was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Elliott, her husband, Allen R. Thomerson, and her sister, Aileen McGriff. She is survived by her sisters, Edna Davis, Virginia Bennett, and Bobbie Dampier (Lawrence); nephews, Donald Bennett (Deborah), and Michael Dampier (Kim); and her niece, Billie Perez.
