Peggy Stout Johnson, 83, of Burlington died at the Hospice Home on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 12:25 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Con Johnson, who survives and the daughter of Ramon Reese Stout and Frances Anthony Stout, both deceased. Mrs. Johnson retired from Stout Trucking. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and a former choir member.
In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include a daughter, Vicky Johnson Terrell and husband Tony of Burlington; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ronnie Stout of Whitsett and Tony Stout of Siler City. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Stout.
