Peggy Riggan French

November 3, 1930 – April 8, 2014

Peggy Riggan French of Hot Springs, Arkansas formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 3, 1930 in Leola, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Coie Blanche Dial Riggan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan, and was a teacher at Leola, East End and Sheridan Schools for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, doing bible studies,  collecting antique glassware and her precious grandbabies.

Mrs. French died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Hot Springs at the age of 83.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Nelson French, sisters, Lois Jaggers, Lorene Heard and Mary Beth Riggan, brothers, Arlin Riggan and Orlin Riggan.

Survivors, son, James “Skip” and wife Charlisa French of Berryville; Daughter, Suzanne and husband Charles “Ed” Morrison of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Fairbanks and husband, Justin, Adam James Tidwell and wife Rachel, Thomas French and fiance’ Laura; step-grandchildren, Julja Morrison, Benjamin Morrison, Jonathan Craig Parker and wife Betty, Erin Parker; great grandchildren, Alexia, Piper, Hannah and one on the way, Ivy and also a host of friends.
