Peggy Lee (Powell) Matheny, age 65, of Pataskala, passed away at home on January 31, 2017, surrounded by her family. Peg was born November 26, 1951 to the late Samuel and Saundra (Allen) Powell in Columbus. She was a very caring person and loved her family unconditionally. Peg touched so many lives with her passion for life and service to others. She is survived by her children, Jodi (Jason) Sells-Coe, Heidi (Todd) Bettler, Zak (Crystallyn) Matheny; grandchildren, Quintin, Kayla, Trent, Kody, Jake, Grace, Jakson, Cohen, Prestyn, Bentley; son-in-law, Bobby (Gina) King; brothers, Tim (Karen) Powell, Tom Powell, Mike (Valerie) Powell; sister, Pam (Jim) Powell; longtime boyfriend, Bob Kiger; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Dexter. In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her daughter, Kaci Sells; brother, Sam Powell; and niece, Shannon Powell.
