Peggy Cooper Holder, age 85, of Lakeview, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Westfield Health and Rehab in Sanford.
Peggy was born in Sanford, North Carolina on February 21, 1936 to the late Brownie Lee Cooper and Ruth Abernathy Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ardis Holder; sisters, Linda Cooper Garner and Nancy Elaine Cooper; brother, William Harvey “Billy” Cooper.
Peggy enjoyed a career as an office worker at JP Stevens Carpet. She loved the Lord and displayed that love to her family and friends. She will certainly be missed by them all.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Lisa Faith Holder Rhodes and husband Ed Rhodes of Greensboro, North Carolina; sister, Carolyn Cooper Benson of Venice, Florida, Martha Cooper Caviness of Sanford, North Carolina; step-grandson, Austin Rhodes.
