Desde muy niA±o aprendiA³ a amar los animales y los sembradAos, puesto que naciA³ y se criA³ en una finca. Se graduA³ de ingeniero agrA³nomo en la Universidad CatA³lica Madre Maestra en 1976. En el 1994 emigrA³ a los Estados Unidos donde trabajA³ muy duro dia y noche para buscar el sustento de su familia. Le gustaba mucho su trabajo como CNC operador. El trabajo, la uniA³n familiar, y el respeto fueron sus mejor legado.
A Pedro le sobreviven su esposa, Asia Caraballo; sus hijos, Pedro N. Gonzalez Jr., Pablo D. Gonzalez, y Marlen Z. Gonzalez; y sus hija-e-hijo en ley, Sunny Gonzalez y Mark P. Lawley. Pedro fue un padre amoroso y un esposo respetuoso. Siempre viviA³ con dignidad y nunca dio un mal ejemplo. Por eso, su familia lo recordaremos con mucho orgullo.

Pedro Nicolas Gonzalez Perez, of Danbury CT, died on Thursday November 21st, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was surrounded by his family, his favorite songs, and the smell of coffee in the air. Pedro fought bravely against leukemia for the better part of 2013 but died of complications due to a bone marrow transplant.
Pedro was born on August 20th,1956 in El Seibo, Dominican Republic to Zoraida Perez and Homero Gonzalez Mera. He was raised among verdant lands, cattle, and all manner of livestock where he learned to love ranching. He earned his degree in Agricultural Business from Pontificia Universidad CatA³lica Madre y Maestra and went on to manage various farms and ranches. In 1994 he emigrated to the United States to build a better future for his family. Ever the hard worker, Pedro spent most of his life working two jobs, going some years without even Sundays off. He became a CNC machinist and worked at Del-Tron for nine years in Danbury, CT, until the recession when he worked on and off for other companies. As a testament to his resourceful nature, when laid off, Pedro tinkered with solar panels and refurbished cell phones, which he sold on eBay.
Pedro is survived by his wife of 32 years, Asia Caraballo; his children, Pedro N. Gonzalez Jr., Pablo D. Gonzalez, and Marlen Z. Gonzalez; and his daughter-and son-in-law, Sunny Gonzalez and Mark P. Lawley. Pedro was a loving father and respectful husband. He always lived with dignity and never set a bad example. For that, his family remembers him with great pride.
