Pearl M. Vaillancourt

Pearl M. (Lamoureux) Vaillancourt, 84, a life long resident of Leominster died Thursday April 23, 2009 in her home surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born on January 14, 1925 in Leominster, MA and was the daughter of Adelard and Anna (Tremblay) Lamoureux. She was a graduate of St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School Class of 1942, and she attended the Stevens Business School for 2 years graduating in 1944. She was a bookkeeper for DiaDem and she worked for Spectro Analytical Instruments and the Sterling Inn before retiring. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Parish in Leominster, the Parish Council, and volunteered her time working Bingo. She was a member of the Senior Center, where she enjoyed socializing with her friends. She was an avid reader and card player; she loved babysitting and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Gerard Vaillancourt, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Leominster, and Donald Vaillancourt and his wife Lynn of Townsend, one daughter Jeanne Klimowicz of Fitchburg, two sisters, Claire Quiet of Leominster, and Maryann “Betty” Schwider of Las Vegas, NV, five grandchildren Nicole Vaillancourt, Renee Vaillancourt, Adam Vaillancourt, Kyle Klimowicz and James Klimowicz. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Vaillancourt, Sr. on January 26, 1988.
