Sr. Pauline Wapiennik O.L.V.M., 88, of Victory Noll, Huntington, IN. died on Friday, June 5, 2009 (3:45 AM) at Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington, Indiana.
Sister Pauline was born in Gary, Indiana on December 6, 1920, to Paul and Agnes Micek Wapiennik. Her parents preceded her in death.
Sister Pauline entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on October 28, 1939, and made first vows on August 5, 1942. She served in the missions in California, Michigan, Indiana, Vermont and Wyoming. She retired in 2002 from ministry in Ida, Michigan and returned to Victory Noll.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Paul Stevenson, and one sister, Irene Brandush.
