Pauline Robinson Truett, age 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Insignia of Newnan with her family by her side. She was born on April 18, 1938 to the late John T. Robinson and Gladys Freeman Robinson. Along with her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Marion Doris Truett; daughter, Rita Smith Griffies and brothers, Melvin Robinson, William Robinson and Donald Robinson. She is survived by her children, Robin Brewer and her husband Tom, Rhonda Calhoun, Roxanne Novak and her husband John, Joey Truitt and his wife Sherry, Robin Daniel, Danny Truitt and his wife Kathy. She also survived by her grandchildren, Shane Calhoun (Christy), Melissa Lowe (Jason), Steven Calhoun (Julie), Greg Forehand, Kayla Flournoy (Tim); 6 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister in law, Shirley Pate; brother in law, Junior Thompson and her dear friend who was like family Angie Newton. She also leaves behind her beloved schnauzer Princess, whom she loved dearly. Pauline graduated from Star Highschool and at the young age of 50 decided to go back to school and graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in nursing. Pauline was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church. She enjoyed making and decorating cakes as well as putting flower arrangements together. She loved her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with them. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
