Pauline M. Wittlake Hartman died Monday February 27, 2012.
Pauline was born December 18, 1913 in Doniphan, NE to Ernest & Nettie Boroff Eastman. She grew up in the small towns in that area and went to school in Giltner NE. She had 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
On July 25, 1931 she married Ervin Wittlake. They came to Idaho in May of 1936. They had no children but she helped care for many children and later owned & operated a day care. They had a photography studio for a number of years until Ervin’s health declined and had to retire. He died July 9, 1986.
Pauline married Gordon Hartman, September 12, 1989 and he passed away Sept 18, 2007. They enjoyed traveling and being retired.
Pauline was also preceded in death by her parents, six siblings and several nephews and nieces. She is survived by 2 sister-in-laws, her step children and many nephews and nieces that loved her very much. There are also many great nieces & nephews that survive her.
