Pauline L. (Dion) St. Onge, 89, of Plainville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2017. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 46 years, Treffle St. Onge, who predeceased her in 2001 and her daughter, Joanne Ashworth, who predeceased her in August 2017.
Pauline was born on July 22, 1928 in Chartierville, PQ, Canada, daughter to the late Philippe and Dorilla (Sicard) Dion. She was employed by Connecticut Spring and Stamping in Farmington, CT as a foot press operator. A determined hard worker, she retired in 2000 to care for her husband. A loving heart of gold, she was always putting others before herself and had an amazing sense of humor. Pauline was “Memere” to her grandchildren who held a special spot in her heart that no one else could fill. She loved being with family, cooking and baking, knitting and crocheting. She will be deeply missed by her entire family and all that crossed paths with her as they continue to cherish the memories they share together.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Shirley Creech with husband Bill of Woodbridge, VA, her grandsons, Justin Creech and Brian Creech (with girlfriend, Allyson and her daughter, Cheyenne) also of Woodbridge, VA and her son-in-law, Scott Ashworth of Plainville, CT, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Irene Jalbert, Rejeanne Gregoire, Lucien Dion, Paul Dion, Gilbert Dion, Marcel Dion, Roger Dion, Ronald Dion and Oliva Dion.
Pauline’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at TouchPoints at Farmington for the care and comfort provided to Pauline and family in their time of need.
