Pauline (Grenier) Hanlon, 64, of Moodus, formerly of Plainville, received her wings on September 9, 2011, with her family by her side.

She was born in New Bedford, MA on April 25, 1947, one of ten children to the late Antonio and Helen Grenier. She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and was a 1966 graduate of St. Anthony High School in New Bedford.  Pauline married her soul mate, Neil in August of 1974, with whom she shared a special bond that was obvious to all who knew them.  An administrator for most of her career, she owned a few small companies, including Recognition Enterprises in Plainville.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed.

She leaves to grieve, her husband, Neil, her greatest joy, her son, Officer Matthew Hanlon and his wife, Carin; her daughters, Wendy Jersey and her husband, Frank, Penny Turton and her husband, Robert, Jr., and Cindy Hanlon; her grandchildren, Robert Turton, III, Kelly Turton, Victoria Jersey, Emily Turton, Madison Hanlon, and Caitlin Hanlon; her brothers and sisters, Robert Grenier and his wife, Joanne, Annette Grenier, Roland Grenier, Paul Grenier and his wife, Mary, Nora Frakes, Simone Comeau, Theresa, Yvonne, and Karen Grenier; her brother-in-law, Thomas Hanlon and his wife, Jacqueline, and her sister-in-law, Maria Hanlon.  She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Tommy, Kerri, Derek, Jason, Scott, Tricia, Bryon, Bobby, Michele, Michael, Jeff, Ryan, and Steven; and many great nieces and nephews.
