Pauline C. Melton, 77, of Galesburg, died at 12:47 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
Pauline was born July 23, 1936 in Galesburg, the daughter of George W. and Cecilia (Peake) Melton, Sr. Pauline is survived by one brother George W. (Sara) Melton, Jr., of Peoria; three nieces; one nephew; and fourteen great nieces and nephews.
Pauline worked for Sanborn Insurance Agency in Galesburg for many years. She was a faithful member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Insurance Women of Galesburg, and enjoyed sewing and making Christmas fudge for friends and family.
