Pauline A. (Hanna) Matlock, 94, passed away Monday Oct. 6, 2014 surrounded by her loving family in New Whiteland. Pauline was born April 16, 1920 in Indianapolis to Otto and Emma (Hite) Hanna.
She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School, class of 1938. She married Ralph Matlock July 21, 1939.
Pauline was employed with Uniroyal for 15 years, in later years she worked at Hardee’s in Whiteland as the first biscuit maker until retiring in 2001. She was a lifelong member of the Linwood Christian Church in Indianapolis.Pauline was a hard worker, always doing things around the home and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her six children, Charlotte Matlock of New Whiteland, Ralph E. Matlock of Beech Grove, Wayne (Hazel) Matlock of Greenwood, Jerry (Ron) Matlock of Indianapolis, Barry Matlock of New Whiteland and Dorinda (Richard) Melvin of Illinois, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph in 1993, three sisters, a brother, a grandson, David Challman and a great-grandson, Damien Matlock.
