Sherrard was born November 1, 1941 to Paulino and Eufracia Ferreira Gomez Calvete in Columbia, South America. She retired from UNC Hospital and Duke Health Care. Paulina will be lovingly remembered by all who knew . Sherrard preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mario and Milton; sisters, Solmilena and Marlene.
