Paula Jean “Nany” LeDuc, age 88 of Hope, died Thursday, June 30, 2022 at home with her family by her side. She was born to the late Harold and Germain (Christen) Smith in Decatur, Indiana on October 3, 1933.

She married Malcolm LeDuc on July 23, 1971 and they spent 25 years together before his death in 1996. She was a longtime member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Edenville and was very involved with the Red Hats and Card Club. She enjoyed being on Wixom Lake, especially throwing her annual 4th of July celebration, and fishing with her family. She will be remembered for the love she had for her cat, George.

Surviving are her children, Kathie Whitehead Herman of Omer, James (Sharon) Robinson of Arkansas, Michael (Becky) Robinson of Texas; step daughter, Kathy (Paul) Bunting of Ohio; grandchildren, JC (Sherry) Scott, Kevin (Beth) Whitehead, Chris (Rose) Whitehead, Rachel (Randy) Webb, Sanotos Joe Hernandez, Justa Rider, Lee Rider; great grandchildren, Derek (Tabitha) Scott, Tyler Whitehead, Austin (Karlena) Whitehead, Kayla Whitehead, Hailey Whitehead, Emma Whitehead; sister in law, Janice Smith; along with 8 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to he parents and husband, Paula was preceded in death by her daughters, JoAnn Rider, and Mary (Rick) Scott.
