Paula “Deenie†Brooks Keen, 59, of 101 Reid St., Chatham, VA died Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Danville Regional Medical Center. Born January 14, 1951 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Davis L. Brooks and the late Dorothy Irvin Brooks. She was formerly employed as a licensed insurance agent, and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughter, Amber Michelle Keen of Cullowhee, NC, a brother, Clyde Davis Brooks and wife, Wanda; four nieces, Jennifer Brooks, Lindsey Brooks, Rusti Keen and Brandi Keen. She is also survived by her caregiver, Janie Anderson, her close friend, Mary Propps, and her ex-husband and close friend, Michael Keen.
