Paula D. (Larwig) Schapson Smith, 84, of Whiteland, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Indianapolis. She was born on November 6, 1932, in Hanau, Germany to her parents, Hans and Frieda Larwig.
She worked as an actuary, and was employed by United Home Life, for over 30 years. She enjoyed working in her yard and walking her dog.
Paula is survived by her three children, Harold “Butch” (Sonda) Schapson of Warsaw, Andrew (Cindy) Schapson of Mc Comb, Ohio, and Charles Schapson of Whiteland, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl “Chuck” Schapson, and her parents, Hans and Frieda Larwig.
