Paula Ann Paulson was an amazing person, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She passed away peacefully February 27, 2020 in her home in Boise, Idaho.  She was born in San Diego, California until moving to Union, Oregon where she graduated from Union High School.  She moved attended Boise State University where she graduated with a B.B.A. in Business Management.

Paula met her husband, Jim, while they were attending BSU in 1980.  They were married on August 13, 1983 and took their vows to heart, “till death do us part”.  They had three amazing sons (Taylor, Andrew and Kip) which they raised to be great young men.  Each of them has found their soul mate and Paula was blessed to get to meet two of her granddaughters, something she never expected to be able to do! She was proud of her three sons and even had that as her license plate (MY3SONZ).

Her first “real job” was with Pioneer Title Company right after she graduated from BSU.  They became part of her extended family.  She worked there for over 30 years.

Her life changed when she was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in late 2008.  She underwent aggressive treatment including radiation, chemotherapy and a blood stem cell transplant.  She was blessed to be diagnosed cured that cancer in early 2015.  However, in September 2015, she was told she had two new simultaneous Stage IV uterine cancers.  She was told with aggressive treatments (surgery and more chemo) that she probably had six months to 3 years.

Paula updated her bucket list and once again, she started checking off items.

Her brothers, Vern Valiant and Steve Valiant, would do anything for her and she loved them both.
