Paul W Knotts, 71 of Tunnelton passed away April 11, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was born January 4. 1940, in Tunnelton, son of Ona Paris and Letha Arlene Bohon Knotts. Paul worked at the Chicken Factory in Oakland MD and as a Coal Miner before he retired. He is survived by his wife Sadie Jean Buckingham Knotts of 47 years, three sons, Roger Knotts and Tonya of Tunnelton, George Knotts and Companion Stacy Bolyard of Tunnelton, Randy Knotts and companion Melinda of Kingwood; two daughters, Betsy Nelson and Roger of Newburg, Sadie Knotts of Morgantown; ten grandchildren, SueAnn McMillen, Betsy Knotts, Roger Paul Knotts, Jessica, Courtney, Roger Jr. Nelson, Danielle Knotts, Christopher, James, Samantha Metz; three great grandchildren, Destiny L and Andrew M Waybright, Maranda Marie; three brothers, Ona Knotts and Virginia, John Knotts and Donna, Frank Knotts and Janice; six sisters, Patty Buckingham and Richard, Della Buckingham and Glen, Mary Edwards and Tom, Jessie Jones, Joyce Sapp and Bobbie, and Betty Sypolt, and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Knotts, two granddaughters, Jennifer Nelson, Chayanne Knotts, one sister, Elizabeth Nelson, three brother-in-law, Charles Sypolt, William Jones and David Nelson.
