Paul Richard Abel, 61, of Shelburn, Indiana passed away July 13, 2015 in Union Hospital.
He was born January 3, 1954 in Terre Haute to Richard E. Abel, Sr. and Veneda Abel.
Paul was employed as a truck driver. He served in the United States Army. Paul enjoyed trains and airplanes and collected models. He liked fishing, camping, guns and travel and was an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Marilyn Jividen Abel.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Brandy Lee Hicks and Matt Wall; stepson, Jerry Jividen and his wife, Debra, and stepdaughter, Julie Jividen. He is also survived by his stepmother, Dora May Houston Abel; brothers, Greg Abel and his wife, Marilyn, and Richard E. Abel, Jr.; grandchild, Devon Hazekamp, several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
