Born Nov. 17, 1930, in Cookeville, Tenn., he was the son of Edgar and Beatrice Jones Huddleston. He was married Feb. 20, 1954, in Star City, to Ida Hettinger, who survives.

Mr.

Paul had served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW in Lafayette. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are sons, Douglas E. and Patsy Huddleston, Jay, Okla., Donald E. Huddleston and his companion, Judi Abney, Logansport, and Robert W. Huddleston and his fiancAC., Christina Martin, Wabash; daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Christopher Montgomery, Valparaiso, and Connie and Gary DeWitt, Fulton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen and Agnes Huddleston, Logansport, and J.P. and Susan Huddleston, Lafayette; sister, Shirley Storey, San Diego, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, June, Kim, Douglas and Samuel; Joe Huddleston, Ruben Huddleston, Shawn Montgomery, Milo Montgomery, Shannon Holder, Erica Huddleston, Brandi Huddleston, Brad Huddleston, Brittany Ogle, Bethany DeWitt, Amber Yadon, Baranda Huddleston and Carah Huddleston; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Paul L. Huddleston; great-grandson, Hunter Shank; brothers, Wendell, Zeb, Wilkie and Stanley Huddleston; and a sister, Evelyn Ridenour.
