Lake City, FL – Paul Michael Caruso, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, following an extended illness. A native of Albany,  Mr. Caruso was the son of the late Michael and Ruth Kelly Caruso. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had been a resident of Lake City for the past twelve years having moved there from Bonita Springs, Florida. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion, the National Rifle Association and the Need More Hunting Club. Mr. Caruso enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, dancing, listening to music and was a gifted artist. He also enjoyed the flea markets and collecting knives and guns.
Mr. Caruso is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Cecelia Fernandez Caruso; his beloved mother, Ruth Kelly; two brothers, Mark Caruso (Cindy) and Adam Caruso all of Troy, and a sister, Karen Caruso (Paul) of Exeter, New Hampshire. Numerous nieces and nephews and his favorite six sisters-in-law also survive.
Services with Military Honors were held in Florida.
